Course Overview

Help and support a community and ensure basic health advice and medical care is fully available for all when you take this course for the Initial Training of Community Health Agents. Agents or Community Health Workers (CHW) are trained community members who have chosen to enable preventive and rehabilitation care to local citizens. During this training, you will be introduced to this concept and how you can take responsibility for this critical role.

After an introduction to the roles and responsibilities of an agent, you will be given a helpful explanation of legal considerations and community health practices. You will be shown how to apply for global community work involving nursing, support mental health in remote areas, and highlight nutritional deficiencies in urban areas. In addition to this, you will learn how to contact authorities, drive campaigns to feed communities and alleviate poverty and lower ideological or political barriers that may harm some areas.

The learners have to successfully complete the assessment of this course to achieve the CPD certificates. Digital certificates can be ordered for only £10. The learner can purchase printed hard copies inside the UK for £29, and international students can purchase printed hard copies for £39.

This course is not regulated by Ofqual and is not an accredited qualification. Assessment Method

You have to complete the assignment questions given at the end of the course and score a minimum of 60% to pass the exam and to achieve Quality Licence Scheme endorsed certificates.
